Volunteers Required to help at The Playhouse
Friends of The Playhouse
The Friends of The Playhouse is a brand new organisation for people who wish to show their support for local theatre by becoming a regular volunteer, donating time rather than financial assistance.
Friends work alongside theatre members to help with front of house. This could be helping out one night a month in the theatre bar, selling coffees or ice creams during the interval, showing patrons to their seats or selling programmes.
Friends can also make use of the green room members bar once a show has finished, meeting with other Friends and the cast, and occasionally get to see a production or film for free!

If you would like to become a Friend, please complete
this form and return to the theatre either in person to the box office or by sending it to:

Dance and Drama Classes
Although not run by the theatre, The Playhouse hosts a number of dance and drama classes or workshops for adults and children during early evenings and weekends.

The classes are very friendly and do not necessarily involve any element of public performance.
